The “dog on the street” is the common 
dog, the everyday dog, the dog who walks his or her human every day on city sidewalks. Although dogs can’t speak directly to humans, if we could read their minds we’d find they have a lot to say. This book puts dog thoughts into words so that we can see the humorous side of being a “dog on the street.”
